Mr David Belasco, who was officially notified by Ambassador Jusserand through Mr Andre Brouzet, Consul General of France, that the French Government had made him a Chevalier in the Legion of Honour in recognition of his distinguished services in the cause of Art. He received the decoration on the stage of the Belasco Theatre, New York.
