Polish Gipsy King died after being shot
Polish Gipsy King died after being shot.
Minister in Law and Niece arrested.
Gipsies all over the world are mourning for Matejasz Kwick, who was known as The Gipsy Baron and was recognised by 30, 000 Polish gipsies as the King. Among them his word was law.
Baron Kwick died in hospital at Warsaw after having been shot in a scuffle at his shack in a Warsaw suburb.
His sister in law and her 15 year old daughter have been arrested for causing his revolver to go off, and three brothers are being questioned by the police. Kwick has refused permission for his niece to be married on the ground that she was too young.
Police fear that there may be still more bloodshed before a conflict over ther succession is settled.
Photo shows, Matejasz Kiwick, murdered Gipsy Baron.
