Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother has given permission for the robes worn by Princess Elizabeth
Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother has given permission for the robes worn by Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret at the coronation of their father King George VI to be shown in the United States. They are to be included in the collection of representative coronation robes and regalia which Mrs. Langley Moore exhibited at Hutchinson House, London, and later in the United States. The exhibition is to raise funds for the Museum of Costumes of which she is the founder.
Photo shows Miss Vevie Wilcox of Sydney, Australia, studying the model of the new High Paddington project estimated at about 8 million pounds which was on view at the exhibition. Paddingtons main terminus will run below it. Photo dated 24th November 1952.
