Trooping resumed.
The second battalion of the Gloucestershire Regiment, commanded by Lt Col R J Bewell, sails from Southampton today, Wednesday for service in Bermuda and Jamaica in the P and O liner Carthage. They are the first battlalion to leave this country with their families since before the war, and 711 officers and men embarked this morning, after travelling to the port into special trains. 35 families sailing with them went on board yesterday.
