Wimbledon tennis player and referee becomes fashionable dress designer.
Mr C T Tinling, the tennis player and referee at the Wimbledon Championships, has become one of the leading dress designers of Mayfair at the age of 22. He is a designer who not only cuts and drapes for his models but sews them as well. Mr Tinling declares that he can now afford to spend three hours a day in training to be a lawn tennis champion, and finds that the game does not affect the agility of his fingers. One of his principal tasks at the moment is preparing Lady Mary Crichton Stewarts wedding gown, and the dresses of the bridesmaids.
