A thrill of the Ulster race. Remarkable photograph of motorcyclists car crashing
A thrill of the Ulster race.
Remarkable photograph of motorcyclists car crashing through banking.
Freddy Dixon, the dare devil motorcyclist, who provided the big thrills in the Ulster Tourist Trophy car race at Belfast crashed through the hedge and overturned at Quarry Corner as he was speeding round the track. He covered 175 miles in his Riley in two hours. He and his mechanic were thrown out and the mechanic was injured in the face.
A remarkable photograph showing Dixon in his Riley car actually crashing through the hedge as they left the track.
