The " America", the largest and fastest liner ever built in the United States, left Southampton for Le Havre after docking last night at the English port after her maiden commercial voyage from New York. The ships ultra modern in design, has many rubberised decks, chromium, nickel and aluminium fittings and her exterior is highly streamlined. In command of the liner is Commodore Harry Manning.
