Electricty from the air
One of the new types of aero windmills to generate electricity which can be stored and used as required, is in the course of erection on the experimental farm of the Oxford University Department of Agricultural Engineering near Luton. It has been brought over from Germany by Major Bilau, the inventor. The four great propellers are designed on the principle of aeroplane wings to obtain the maximum suction effect and develop 40 to 75 hp to drive a 220 volt dynamo
