Difficulties of demolishing a quaint London bridge.
Standing at the back of the Little Theatre is a quaint old bridge for which a special act of Parliament was needed before permission was granted for its construction. Built for Coutts Bank in 1799, its period of service has now expired, the bank building being in the hands of demolition experts. Another act of Parliament is however essential before the bridge can be pulled down.
