To add to Londons ever - improving transport system the new Central Line extension

To add to Londons ever - improving transport system the new Central Line extension, from Leytonstone to Woodford and Newbury Park, is due to be opened by the Minsister of Transport. The tunnels on this extension were finished early in the war, but instead of being used for tube trains it was decided to house a war production plant in them. The picture shows the new Wanstead Station.
