Race at Assen, June 26th, Hailwood, who won the recent Isle of Man Senior T.T. for the third successive year, set up a new record when he won the event after a great duel with Agostini. His time for the 96.6-mile race was duel with Agostini. His time for the 96.6-miles race was 64:59.6 seconds - An average of 88.4 M.P.H.
