All Paddington is celebrating the 71st birthday of Whiteley s, one of Londons most famous department stores. A feature of the celebrations was a Cavalcade of fashion in which over fifty of the worlds loveliest mannequins showed changes in feminine attire since 1863. Among them were Miss Diana Vawsher whose sixteen inch waist enabled her to wear an 1863 bridal dress.
