Paris, fashion center of the world, has lost its famous midinettes. They have succumbed to the strike fever and have declared a stay in strike, in sympathy with thousands of other workers throughout France. At several of the great fashion houses of the city the mannequins and other workers stayed on the premises all night. Red flags were displayed in the windows of the show room.
