Ten-month old chimpanzee Casey caught playing court to Caesar, a champion Chihuahua. He is helping prepare him for next month's Crufts Dog Show. Miss Olga Denver, the dog's owner, adopted the chimp when he arrived from the African Congo. The chimp and the chihuahua soon became close friends. 29th January 1969

The giant Pan-American Airways flying boat the Flying Clipper, which a few weeks ago made a series of test flights over the Pacific, has taken off from Alameda, California, on her opening commercial flight to Honolulu. This is the first stop on her 5, 000 miles flight to Ware Islands in the Pacific Ocean.
