The largest and smallest breeds pictured together at Cruft's in 1968 are SOFFTEE, a Great Dane, owned by RON MUIR, of Leyton, Essex, and FABIOLA a Chichuahua, owned by MRS MOLLY MOORHOUSE of Bournend, Bucks.

1930s Cheering sailors of HMS Indomitable, the aircraft carrier, raise their hats in salute to the American Liner, United States, 53, 000 tons, as it berthed at Le Havre following it's record breaking crossing of the Atlantic in a time of 3 days, 10 hours and 40 minutes. The United States, making it's maiden voyage to England where she is due tomorrow night, bettered the time taken by the Queen Mary in 1938 by 10 hours and 2 minutes. 7th July 1952
