Commanders to appear in the Royal Command of Variety Performance are the young Canadian dance team Blanche and Allan Lund, who made their name in the Canadian Navy revue "Meet The Navy" and appearing in "Picadilly Hayride".

The latest dancing craze to hit London's dance halls, which is expected to take place alongside the "Lambeth walk" "Boomps-a-daisy", "Hokey-kokey" and such is the "Re-bob-bob" which was written by the two South Africans Carl and Roger Yale, dancers are expected to "bob up and down like a monkey on a stick, clap hands, twist, waggle hands at their ears, and re-bob-bob".
Picture Shows: Roger Gale with his wife Carol who helped work out some of the dance steps, do a spot of "hand waggling at their ears" while demonstrating the new "re-bob-bob" dance in London.
