The boat was built in 1934 for the Newcastle Coal & Shipping Co Ltd by James Pollack Sons Co from Faversham, Kent. It was launched in 11/10/1934 by the chairmans wife, Mrs Camroux. It is a 400T coaster powered by a W H Allen 300bhp diesel engine.
